Shanda Hill
Hailing from Vernon, British Columbia, Shanda Hill is a world-record-breaking ultra-endurance athlete and a true icon of human resilience. She is the first woman in history to complete a Triple Deca Continuous Triathlon—a staggering feat equivalent to 30 full Ironman distances back-to-back, involving a 114 km swim, 5,400 km bike ride, and a 1,266 km run.
Today, she is the only person on Earth to have completed three Double Deca triathlons and holds the women's world record for the most IUTA (International Ultra Triathlon Association) iron-distance finishes (175).
She is a two-time IUTA World Cup champion (2017, 2025) and member of the Hall of Fame. She holds the continuous Deca Iron Distance world record with a time of 225 hours, 10 minutes, 25 seconds
